October is shaping up to be a very busy month, we have the following events going on so far. October 2nd we have all been invited to a cookout at Brother Doug’s house with the revival pastor, Brent Gambrell, remember to bring a 2 liter and/or some sort of chips or something. We will be meeting around 6:00 pm. October 3rd - 6th is Revival, I am very excited to get to see Brother Brent again and

know that God will use him in a mighty way, please try to plan on attending every night if possible, It will be great! On October 9th, we will be having a bon-fire at the Riggs’ place, we will be starting there around 5:00 pm and again, remember to bring a 2 liter and/or a bag of chips. October 16th we have the opportunity to set a booth up for a bake sell. This will help us raise money for the Youth fund, which is needed with camp sneaking up on us and the possibilities of other great retreats. In Late October, we have an opportunity to attend a retreat at Van Buren, This years theme is "Press On". This is for 7th-12th graders and will be October 29th and 30th. I need to know how many people want to go as soon as possible so I can get us registered. See me or April for more information. Let me just take a moment from that to say a special thanks to all of the youth that came out to the Manz's farm to help us get some of it cleaned up. You all worked very hard, and should be very proud, we made not only a dent in it, but a crater! God continues to bless not only me and my family, but the youth ministry of this church and it is very exciting to be a part of what He is doing. Continue to come faithfully as you have been and invite your friends....speaking of that, AWESOME JOB at our last bring a friend night, you guys had 33 in the youth class that night! Always remember, if you need anything, don't hesitate to call April or I and lets continue to be in prayer for the many ministries here at FBC and remember "The Truth is GOOD"!

ProLife There will be a ProLife luncheon for anyone interested in supporting Life and NOT Abortion. We have an opportunity to support and refer people to a ministry in Dyersburg that helps give women an alternative to abortion. A Light Lunch Will Be Served.

Discipleship: We do have a discipleship class for adults. We all need to go deeper in God’s Word and learn how to be like Jesus, that’s what the discipleship class is all about. We meet at 5:00 pm each Sunday in the Bullington S.S. Classroom.
