Child Development gathered125 children to a Kid’s Camplast April 6, 7 and 8 2016 andparticipants were from CD’sPartner church, Drop-in andChildren’s Village. Our themewas entitled “ONE Love” from1 John 17:24.

We thank God for allowing usto be His instrument of Hislove and grace. During everysession we felt the moving ofthe Holy Spirit. Childrenrealized and felt the love ofGod witch resulted to therepentance of their sins andthey asked Him to be theirpersonal Lord and Savior. ByGod’s power they were onceagain renewed and remindedhow they are precious in God’seye. As their act of faith theywant to share the goodness andlove of our Lord Jesus Christ toothers.

There was a child from Drop-in, named Jaspher, a 10 year old boy, who collects plastic bottles andsold to junk shop for him to pay his registration fee in the Camp. He knows that his mother cannotgive him the amount he need because of their economic condition. Through his effort, he was able tojoin and that makes him very happy.

Through games and teambuildings, they learned theimportance of each other for“no man is an Island”. Theygot the true meaning ofUNITY. They became concern

to one another regardless oftheir differences.

Through singing praises toGod their hearts and mindswere renewed.

We really giving all the praisesand glory to our God who’salways guiding us in all ourCamps. For it is only He, whodeserves it.

Praise His name!

We at CMPare very happy to take part withthis kind of activity for thechildren to improve theirsocialization skills, swimmingability, and boost their confi-dence. A once a year activitythat gives a lifetime memory!

This year, Children’s Villagehighlights the summer vacationwith a memorable, fun, andexciting swimming lesson for31 children in the Village, inone of the resort here inMontalban. Children weregiven 6 days for the swimminglessons including the playtimeand free time in the pool. Theywere divided into two groupsfor morning and afternoonsessions together with twoSwedish volunteers as instruc-tors and 3 adult guardians.

Every after sessions, majorityof the children were observedto have improved their skills inswimming little by little. All ofthem are participative andshows eagerness to learn, hencesome of them were noticed to

Around 76 sponsored youth ofABC - Children Mission Philip-pines gather together in a Sum-mer Youth Camp. This is an an-nual activity of our SponsorshipProgram. The Summer YouthCamp 2016 has for its theme –‘1 Direction’ which is from theGospel of John 14:16 … “I amthe Way, the Truth and the Life.No one comes to the Father ex-cept through me”. For theseyouth this was a time of reflect-ing, like what one camper said,“I got to realize that Jesus is theonly Way to go to Heaven”. Notonly did they have a deeper un-derstanding of God because theytoo have fun and excitement inevery game that they were chal-lenged to be united as a group.
