Bloodhound SSC Cloud Connectivity

• ~600 Sensors– The sensors are connected to 7 real-time computers (gateways)

– The real-time computers are sending the sensor data using UDP packets

– Message frequency • 400 Hertz within the car network

• 50 Hertz externally

• UDP Parser & Error Handler Processes– Runs on Raspberry PI

– Developed in Python

– UDP to JSON payload (using the car’s gateway’s configuration file)

– Send it to the Oracle Cloud (OCI, SOA CS, IoT CS, DBCS, Oracle Analytic Cloud Data, Kafka, etc).

– Error handling –• Save the message in a local Queue (RabbitMQ)
