100% ARABICA

In Colombia, the Andes mountain range separates the Amazon from the Colombian coasts on the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The mountains and the impact of the oceans also create exceptional weather conditions and rain regimes, which allow the country to harvest coffee during all months of the year. This is how Colombia is the only country that can offer fresh coffee to the market permanently.

The volcanic origin of our soils and the high altitudes in which coffee is produced in Colombia, which are derived from its proximity to the equatorial line, confer additional attributes to Colombian coffee with balanced attributes. Colombian coffee is soft, with a clean cup, with acidity and a medium / high body, and a pronounced and complete aroma.

Green coffee is the coffee bean in its natural state, without toasting, which has not finished its ripening process. Its flavor is somewhat more bitter than roasted coffee, the aroma also varies, has many nutritional properties that make green coffee a valuable food.

In Colombia we have raw material to obtain a green grain type export. This product, in its dry parchment state, is covered by an endocarp or parchment that is removed from the green grain during the threshing process. By removing the parchment and selecting the grains, you get the excellent green coffee that meets the quality requirements to be exported.

The coffee roasting is the process that most influence the final result of the cup of coffee that you drink. The roasted coffee that we offer can be:

Light roast, it keeps well the coffee flavors it has in origin and that the toaster does not want to be lost. It is used to protect herbal and fruit nuances.

The medium roast preserves the coffee's caffeine, provides greater sweetness, and as the sugars begin to caramelize nuances of nuts, caramel and chocolate are achieved.

The dark roast dries the coffee much more and all its essential oils are extracted in a process known as dry distillation.
