COLEMAN BLOCK PARTYNovember 16th's event was a great evening for Colemanstudents and families - food trucks, performances from theColeman Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, JazzBand, and Drumline... wrapping up with Coleman's annual andhotly contested basketball game, faculty vs. 8th grade boys'and girls' basketball team members.

ROBOTICS WINCongratulations to Coleman's 7th grade Robotics Team - EthanMacCormack, Bryson Burnett, Luke McLaughlin, and JaydenPatel - for their performance in the Orange County RingmasterVEX IQ Challenge robotics tournament at Apopka High Schoolon Nov. 19th. PTA REFLECTIONS ART CONTEST
The Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA will be celebratingthe Reflections Art Program Gallery and Awards Ceremonyon December 10th at Jefferson High School from 2-4p.m. Thepurpose of this event is to celebrate everyone's talent andachievement. Please come to enjoy artwork from across thecounty, and cheer on the winners no matter who they are.
Coleman Middle School is proudly represented by 7 students at
the district level: Megan Merritt and Elliot Francolla in theMusic Composition category; Nicole Sapienza, Bryson Burnettand Gabriela Richter in Visual Arts; Mully Michalouski and JohnTyler Dennis in Photography; and Gabriela Richter in FilmProduction. The district level winners will be announced at theceremony. Our finalists' artwork will be displayed at the galleryexhibit.

If your family has made a donation this yearto the Coleman Family and/or Coleman Business SponsorshipCampaign in any amount, you can designate the facultymember(s) you would like to honor with this award. They willreceive a handwritten note from the committee with yourpersonal message, delivered with a special treat. The awardsare distributed at least 3 times throughout the school year -you may send as many notes as you would like, as manytimes as you would like! Communication has been sent tothose who are eligible to participate in this special benefit withinformation about submissions and deadlines.What a great way to let our faculty know they are making adifference in your child's success at Coleman this year!
