UtilitiesIssuer scripting is a way of con-trolling your card base after issu-ance. It is a valuable aid in fraudprevention. You can send scriptsto the cards via the standard pay-ment/branch networks to ATM/Branch terminals to block cards &applications, to change spendinglimits, and customer parametersin the card. EMV standards sup-port the change of these risk para-meters in the field through Issuerscripting/EMV scripting.
