#55 STARTING PITCHER JON GRAY RHP

• The 26-year-old Oklahoma native went 10-10 with a 4.61 ERA (168.0 IP, 86 ER), 59 walks and 185 strikeouts in his second Major League season.

• The 185 strikeouts are the all-time Rockies’ rookie single-season record and were the most among Major League rookies this year … 10 wins ranked fifth among Rockies rookies all-time, tied for fourth among Major League rookies this season.

• Recorded 16 quality starts, the second-most on the Rockies this season (Chad Bettis with 17), and the most ever in a single season for a Rockies rookie.

• His strikeouts per nine innings (9.91) led all Major League rookies, ranked sixth in the Majors overall, and was the highest single-season rate in Rockies history.

• Set a franchise and Coors Field record with his 16 strikeouts on Sept. 17 vs. San Diego in what was his first career complete-game shutout ... it was the second complete-game shutout for the Rockies on the season, and in the month of September (also: Chad Bettis, Sept. 5 vs. San Francisco).

• Struck out 10 or more batters in six starts this season, the second-most 10-plus strikeout games in a single-season in club history … only Pedro Astacio had more games in a season (7, 2000) ... became the first Rockies rookie with multiple games of 10 or more strikeouts in franchise history.

• His combined 26 strikeouts Sept. 17 & 26 are a franchise record over two consecutive games.
