DESCRIPTION

Day 2 was a very general approach to setting up a basic Facebook page, generating "likes", and using the @tag feature, pictures etc. The page setup is of course the easy part, the preparation to market your page and the content strategy was a different story and discussed in depth.

Start by typing- http://www.facebook.com/pages

Then click--- Create Page

Choose Local Business

Then Choose –Automotive

Name your page with your brand name

Make sure you include your region in page name

Fill out all pertinent information

Click Facebook TOS box and Create Page

Follow the Steps Outlined

Upload Image and Make it your Profile

Click on Change Picture in top right corner of Profile

Then Click the Little Pencil

Then Click “Edit Thumbnail”

Drag your image so that it fits in box

This image will represent your brand in

status updates

At this point you will be filling out all the

information about your company in this section

Click “Edit Page” and get Started. After that try

a couple updates

You will now have the option to capture HTML

code to add a badge to your site

By Clicking on “Send Mobile Email” you will be

able to send pictures and updates via unique
