What is it & What does it provide

• Full-size reliable and dedicated LTE/IMS/M2M develop ment & test environment in PACA region – Operated by Telecom Platform Association – Backed-up by industrial & academic partners and public funds– Open to market players (regional, national, international)

• Full-scale end-to-end test from services / applicat ions to user equipment and from communicating objects / devices to service s i.e. – Hand-over, interoperability, reliability, compatibility against standards – Performance testing (latency, throughput, connection time…)– Load tests on shared or dedicated network– Technology, protocol, application selection and/or validation – Pre deployment and traffic simulation tests – Benchmarking

Introduction• A 4G/LTE network consisting of base stations and 4G /LTE core

network deployed on the PACA region

• Access to a core IMS infrastructure, applications s ervers (presence, converged messaging, multimedia content delivery) and an application development environment

• Access to a 3G network for testing migration from 3G to 4G/LTE will be available on the Monaco territory


LTE/IMS – Network and Services• LTE Core Network - Release 9 (EPC, HSS …)

– LTE Network access via 3 eNodeB (2,6 GHz ) – Backhaul Network transport between sites : High speed Hertzian Relays and VPN, optic fiber – Network optimization and bandwith saving gateway for carrier network and access network
