From the mayor— To the honorable Common Council: Gentlemen—By request of the Uni- versity authorities, the following are appointed special policemen on the University grounds, to .serve without pay from the city: Reuben Armhrus- ter, Robert Howard, Theodore Mast, Fred Hough and Thomas Hopwood. President Mills returned to chair. Moved by Aid. Sweet: That a com­

mittee of three be appointed by the chair to look up site for Third ward building for use during caucuses, elections, etc. Adopted and following committee appointed—Aid, Sweet, Koernke and Hochrein.
