• Initially, there will be 3 sessions per day

ONLINE CLASS PROTOCOLS
• Be punctual, and adhere to the dress code
• When the session is in progress, the video must be turned on and the
microphone to be kept on mute
• Assignments and examinations assigned should be diligently completed
• Zoom Cloud Meeting App or Browser (Live Streaming)
• Google classroom (Assignments, notes, test etc.)
ONLINE PLATFORMS USED FOR DELIVERING CLASSES
PROCESS OF JOINING ONLINE CLASSES

• Activate your Email ID provided by the college

• Activate the Zoom account and join classes everydayusing the app/browser

• Join Google Classroom using the class code assigned to the respective subject
HOW TO ACTIVATE THE COLLEGE
PROVIDED EMAIL ID ON YOUR PHONE
STEP 1 :
Open the Settings option on your phone
STEP 2:
Click on Account / Account sync
STEP 4:
Select “Google”
STEP 3:
Click on “ Add Account”
STEP 5:
Add the email ID provided by the
college
STEP 6:
Click on “NEXT” then “ADD” the
password given by the college and follow
the instructions to activate your account
HOW TO ACTIVATE AN EMAIL ID ON
YOUR LAPTOP/DESKTOP
Step 1 :
Go to “Settings”
Step 2 :
Go to “Windows Settings”
and click on Accounts
Step 3 :
Select Email & accountsStep 4 :
Then click on “ Add an account “
Step 6 :
Enter the email ID and the password given by
the college to activate your account
Step 5 :
Select “Google”
ZOOM ACCOUNT ACTIVATION
Step 2 :
Click on “Sign Up” option with the ID and
password given by the college
Step 1 :
Download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings”
app from the Play store on your phone
Step 3:
Sign Up with the email-ID given by the
college and add your details
Step 4 :
You will receive a confirmation mail
from ZOOM
Step 5 :
Your Zoom App is ready for use!
SIGNING INTO ZOOM USING A
MOBILE PHONE
Sign in with your Email ID and
password given by college
As per the schedule, “Join” your class
with the ID and password
SIGNING INTO ZOOM USING A
LAPTOP/DESKTOP
Step 1: Go to https://zoom.us/ and click on “Sign Up Its Free” button at the top right
corner of the screen
Step 2: Sign Up with the email ID provided by the college here
Step 3: You will receive a Zoom activation confirmation email in your college-provided email account.
Access the inbox and click on “Activate Account”, which will bring you to the Zoom browser page (as
shown below). Select “No” and then click on “Continue”
Step 4: Fill the necessary details and click on “Continue” (As displayed in the example below)
Step 5: Click on “Skip this step”
Step 6: Click on “Go to My Account” to complete the Sing Up process
SIGN INTO ZOOM THROUGH BROWSER
Step 1: Go to https://zoom.us/ and click on “Sign In” with the college provided email-ID and password
Step 2: After signing in, you will land on your profile page. Click on “Join Meeting”, then enter the meeting
ID provided for the particular class and then click on “Join”
GOOGLE CLASSROOM
ACTIVATION PROCESS
Step 1 • Go to the website – https://classroom.google.com
Step 2• Login using college provided email-ID and password
Step 3• Click on “+” icon on right side of the web page
Step 4• Select the option “ Join Class”
Step 5
• Enter the class code provided by your respective subject teacher(s)
Important instructions regarding
online classes
Kindly login into your Zoom account through one device at a time
(either mobile or laptop)
The email ID and password given by the college should not be shared
with anyone
After you sign in into your zoom account, please reset the password
immediately
Attendance is mandatory
The online classroom sessions will also be recorded
Note: Offline classes will commence only after receiving instructions from the State Government and
the PUC Board.
