COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERFACE POLICY

We are committed to the proactive operation of an effective communications and interface policy. This policy is fully supported by the senior management team who will work together to ensure that the highest standards in risk control measures can be achieved using a co-ordinated approach. We will co-operate with the client and all other relevant interfaces in producing and implementing a structure of communication, both internally and externally, which will ensure that adequate control measures for the overall control of risks are discussed, agreed, co-ordinated and implemented across all areas of work. In liaison with the client and other affected parties, ISSL will ensure that all relevant information with regards to risks is made available to all employees as soon as possible prior to the start of any work, and that any method statements and/or work package plans are available also. Regular briefing of appropriate individuals working for ISSL will be undertaken to ensure co-operation at all times with the rules, regulations and instructions of the client and any other interfacing organisation as defined within the project documentation. All individuals working for ISSL will co-operate fully with the client and other employers who are affected by the work, during audits and inspections of the project. This policy will be reviewed at least annually for effectiveness.
