Creative Writing -Write Your Life: Storytelling designed to promote recovery through creative expression in writing . The main focus of
the course is recounting your recovery story in a unique and imaginative narrative style. Holding the class in the computer lab allows the
students to sharpen their computing skills while expressing themselves in an accepting environment.
Eliminating Self-defeating Behavior: This class is designed to help students utilize recovery pathways to change behaviors that work
against their potential and their recovery. The focus of this class is on identifying undesirable behaviors, emotions and thoughts, for the
purpose of developing alternatives that are more useful and effective.
Employment Computer Lab: Click your way to work! This class is for anyone who is thinking about going to work in the future. Search
online for your dream job! Assistance in resume and cover letter creation available also.
Hear Me Roar: Your Voice in Advocacy!! Learn how your voice can make a difference in your neighborhood, your city, your county, your
state and your country. Students will have a chance to witness advocacy in action in the community through field trips and videos. Stu-
dents will have a chance to build an advocacy plan around a change they are passionate about.

achieve a peaceful mental state. Join us for this morning wake-up and shine class!
Home is Where the Heart Is: This workshop will help you define that special place you call home! From dream to self-care to home or-
ganization to financial empowerment—this course has it all!!
Mosaic Employment Workshop: You select the topics for this awesome class. Tell us what you want and we will deliver it!! Please visit
WCC or the REC for current Mosaic Employment Workshop topics and guest speakers.
Recovery in the Media: Thought-provoking curriculum uses film as a tool and focuses on Hollywood and popular sensational concepts of
mental illness: stigma, stereotyping, and commercial films’ influences on our society.
SART for Teachers: The well-known Substance Abuse and Recovery Training program is adapted for group facilitators and recovery edu-
cators with a focus on how we as educators can create a recovery-oriented, empowering environment for students.
Shakespearean Recovery! YES IT IS BACK!!! And this time it is bigger and better! The program continues to grow and use media and
performance art to examine recovery in the past, present, and future.
Teaching the Recovery Pathways: Get a comprehensive understanding of the pathways to recovery, the Nine Dimensions of Wellness,
and ways to make these concepts come alive for your learners. Please come with a notebook and a willingness to gain new teaching skills!
The Real World—Mosaic: Citizens will have a chance to create a business and become the staff of their business. Citizens will have a
chance to experience: setting a schedule and maintaining it through clocking in and out of shifts (class); building a project from proposal
to design and presentation; and building and working as a team to bring their projects to fruition.
Our Mission is to create opportunities and environments that empower people to recover, to succeed in
accomplishing their goals, and to reconnect to themselves, others, and meaning and purpose in life
