Glimpse of Mewat� Declared 20th district of Haryana

� One of the most backward district of Haryana

� Divided in six block in that 503 villages under 308 panchayats

� Literacy rate is 54%, Is only 37% among women

� 62%households live below the poverty line

� There is a lack of information about government schemes

� Irregularities in the implementation of government schemes as well as in the creation of infrastructure in terms of health, education, sanitation and hygiene.

� Only 20% of households having the toilet facilities.
