· STEP 1: Register for an information session by contacting Jen Gentle at (402) 536-3500 or [email protected].
· STEP 2: Attend information session (1 hour) - Complete an application and background check forms, and determine your area of interest. If your area of interest requires it, provide a copy of your driver’s license and current car insurance.
· STEP 3: Background check - Process takes 2-4 weeks.
· STEP 4: Orientation - If mentoring, attend and complete a 2-4 hour orientation.
· STEP 5: Introductory meeting or volunteer placement - LFS staff will make arrangements with you.
