Basic/initial layout suggestion for a “BRONZE” level, by Bees Marquees Ltd
SUMMARY: carpet-covered timber floor in basic soft-walled structures, all together on sports pitches –
and assuming an unpressurised build schedule
Disadvantages: main marquee is shared between dining & dancing (dining tables on dance floor need moving),
soft walls (also for entrances) so poor insulation, standard stock lining/lighting – will feel like a compromise

ØSeparate large dance tent. I’ve made the best of what we have; smaller but dedicated dance tent, down next to main dining and kept a (shrunken) walkway across the ‘upper lawn’ but managed to avoid having to clear tables in the main dining area (as per the pre-meeting layout for this lowest price point)! ØNon-stocked linings; we would have to use stock lining so mostly all ivory-pleat = no theming, no roof overlays, no starlight etc
ØNo fancy lighting
ØWe don’t get involved in the supply of field kitchen equipment or anything that’s not listed on our quote
Risks in providing this minimal spec:
ØPower & toilet capacity – only 1 generator & 2 toilet trailers are included (Gold had 3 of each). I believe De Vere offered power can be taken from the hotel and also access given to the toilets from the Arden suite.
ØTimber floor is recommended for all areas but this spec will only use it in the main hospitality areas (page 3 shows floor type)
ØHeating – if it’s a cold December we will definitely need more heating than what’s included here (just what we have in stock), but we could review that a week or so before the event, unless you can provide extra heating yourselves?
ØHeat loss – ideally all of it should be hard sided. I have offered the hard sides which we have available in stock but wouldn’t source in the extra to provide everything hard sided
