• Water treatment plants (Q = 23,200 m³/d), 43 Drinking water storage tanks, 22 Booster pumping stations, 11

Water distribution networks (Jalilabad: 4 networks; L = 880 km) + 85 km transmission mains, 11 Wastewater

collection networks (L = 840 km) with 12 sewerage booster pumping stations, 8 Wastewater Treatment Plants with

mechanical and biological treatment stages, and sludge treatment, covering a population of 340,000.

• Detailed design, tender documents, evaluation of tenders, assistance during contract award,

• Construction supervision incl.financial supervision of contracts, commissioning, assistance during liability period.

Investment Measures:

• The sewerage system in this region was hydraulically rehabilitated. Collector with a pipe diameter of

DN 3000-DN 2500. Entire rain overflow remained open, so that the protection of the Rednitz river and the water

protection area of the place could be guaranteed

• Micro drain system: Rehabilitation of 43,5 km of existing drains, Construction of 264 km of new drains.

• Macro drain system: Construction of new structures including retaining walls, embankments, open channels,

closed culverts, and a system of pumping stations (depending on design rainfall)

Consulting Services:

• Feasibility Study incl. review of existing situation of Astana WWTP (192,000 m³/d), definition of feasible options for

technical and financial comparison and final superposition by means of a “simplified benefit-value analysis“.

• Estimation of required investment and operation cost (“CAPEX” and “OPEX”) for all proposed investment measures

Proposed investment measures:

• Construction of new additional anaerobic digesters and related facilities (gasholder, CHP).

• Construction of a mono sludge incineration plant, which showed a very good ecological balance and it could be

considered as a reliable and proven technology.
