Planned Communities
Birtinya Peninsula is adjacent to the Birtinya Island development at Oceanside and will remain as one of the primary residential communities within this greater development. At Birtinya Peninsula we completed the neighbourhood park, seven stages of streetscaping with linking parks and waterfront explorative parkland, as well as extended the network of access paths that now include access for personal water activities within the local waterways. The neighbourhood park is a prime example of our ability to deliver a high-intensity park with many exclusive components. This park includes open lawns, feature gardens, interactive natural play zones, playground equipment, an all-abilities amenities block, customised shelters, picnic and BBQ facilities with an open air amphitheatre. The park showcases our team’s passion for quality landscape finishes and the desire to deliver superior facilities to local communities
The Bells Reach Parks were varied in their construction approach as they were to target particular age groups. The latest addition has been the Adventure Park with many challenging and exciting elements. This park sets the benchmark in adventure play by providing challenging activities for all ages. Due to this park being the only kind of its nature in the region it had to be constructed to the highest quality to ensure continued safety and rigour for all to enjoy. This adventure park is located in a beautifully vibrant setting with large ex ground palms, surrounding ‘old school’ additional play elements, natural environments that generate free play, low maintenance gardens and large open break-out lawn areas.
The ultimate in contemporary living, with extensive green open spaces. Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the community is nestled around the Gainsborough Greens Golf Course and has extensive green open spaces. 65% of Gainsborough Greens is dedicated to extensive open space, parks, conservation areas and the golf course.

Planned Communities
Eureka Landscapes have been involved with Yarrabilba from day 1. We are currently entering our fourth year on site having completed Precinct 1 (includes Darlington Parkland, 3 smaller parks, 6 staged streetscapes, a sales village and significant entry works); Precinct 2 (various large staged streetscapes, various extensive linear parklands and upgrades to the display village and sales office) and Precinct 3 (streetscapes, linear parkland and neighbourhood parks).Yarrabilba provides a very stable platform for ongoing growth and development within our construction and management teams. Working in a collaborative manner with all contractors and consultants involved we are able to constantly deliver high quality outcomes within the budget and program constraints.
At North Lakes, Eureka Landscapes have enjoyed delivering all of the landscapes and parks to the ever growing and ever changing community. Throughout our 12 year journey we have established a great relationship with the local and broader community. We have accommodated not only the Stockland Development requirements but also the smallcommunity requests. We are extremely proud that the parks that we havecontinued to deliver at North Lakes are standing up to the demands. We have been continued to developed a highly skilled workforce as this project has provided all of the challenging situations any landscape contractorcould expect.
Springfield Lakes is another landmark project development site that Eureka Landscapes pride ourselves on. We have formed a strong long term relationship with Lend Lease. This relationship has formed from our ability to work cooperatively as a team with all contractors, consultants and the Ipswich City Council. We have delivered many custom and bespoke landmark elements in the parks that we have delivered in andaround the Springfield Lakes region. The Promenade Falls was a reticulated water body with not only custom off form concrete weirs but also ones of natural stone. This required additional hydraulic engineering tomaintain even volumes over the individual wall sections. A feature water body that has had no issues since opening many years ago. Other key park areas delivered include the Discovery Park, Grande Park and LakesEntrance.

Infrastructure & Education
The ACU Banyo campus include the complete revitalisation of the Community Court with a historically sensitive approach, the comprehensive revitalisation of the St. Francis Courtyard and the construction of the new Journey Works access route. The works included the thorough demolition of all works, re-profiling and installation of a selection of premium pedestrian pavement treatments sensitive to the Chapel and historic data for the project site; new feature gardens with rare roses, custom furniture, a vehicular access pavement through the courtyard and up-lighting to the Chapel. The St. Francis Courtyard works included the installation of a formal courtyard complete with various pavement finishes, access paths, stairs, feature gardens and a pair of unique Blackbutt timber shade trellis structures.
The Anglican Church Grammar School’s Junior School Playground proved to be a very complex arrangement of surface treatments and seating elements. A large component of demolition works was initially required prior to commencement of the new courtyard. Due to access requirements and the design of the playground, this project has to be completed in stages working from the top back of the area, outwards. The area coprises of a series of terraced platforms, extensive seating walls of varying surface finishes, large shaded concrete areas, many stair and ramp access options as well as a lower level play area. A highlight of the site is the aerial play equipment which is situated at the top of the slope with a commanding view of the entire area.
Mainly underground, the 6.7km toll road connects the Clem 7 Tunnel, Inner City Bypass and local road networks. Airport Link is the first major motorway linking the Brisbane city to the northern suburbs and airport precinct, avoiding up to 18 sets of lights. Design and construction of the projects followed a comprehensive Environmental Management Plan, incorporating appropriate environmental management and protection practices. During construction, our project team was committed to protecting the existing environment and managing environmental impacts. Through innovative urban design, the project enhanced the surrounding environment with the creation of significant areas of new landscape.

Working extremely closely with the design team post-contract award we were able work collectively in design workshops to value-engineer custom elements in the project to find efficiencies for additional scope options. The works included: significant earthworks and level changes; curved, formed and poured in-situ concrete walls and stairs, cobble, unit and concrete pavements; premium softfall rubber in custom pattern; customised timber and steel balustrade; detailed drainage works; lighting and electrical works; a unique suite of furniture; irrigated and planted garden beds; profiled lawn area; and, of course, the pink, sprawling sky tower and slide system with associated playground elements.
Located on the site of a former coal fired power station this 2.9 hectare north facing site on the Brisbane River at Tennyson is a contemporary all abilities district park. The park covers the environmental, social and cultural aspects of the past and future cultures. A project heavily based on sustainable initiatives and usability. This project has all of the prerequisites required to showcase a landscape contractors construction abilities.
A super park for all ages. The super park at Darlington Parklands comprises of various play areas targeted at different age groups, a water play area similar to Darlington Quarter in Sydney, a markets area, large open break out lawns, picnic facilities and natural walks along natural waterway corridors. This super park has been part of the Precinct 1development at Yarrabilba which also included 3 other smaller parks, 6 staged streetscapes, a sales village and suburb entry works.
