We have an experienced construction team on Standby to undertake any project with recent experience in highly complex large corporate projects completed on budget, on time and to very stringent quality requirements.

Of paramount importance to the successful delivery of any project is the establishment of a cohesive, well managed project team with the appropriate expertise and experience

in all required disciplines. Our Management System focuses on ensuring we provide a professional service to clients, which results in fewer risks and a very successful

outcome. By using our experienced staff we ensure that all aspects of project buildability, industrial relations, financial control and programming are managed in a professional manner. To achieve the ultimate project objective we propose providing the services of a Project Director, a Project Manager and a Site Manager. They will be responsible for

the planning and management of all client, site and administrative issues. In addition, it is our intention to invite to tender and appoint only subcontractors with a proven track

record in quality and performance.

Danny Trifunovic has extensive experience in the commercial construction industry with more than 18 Years based in Sydney. Danny’s experience is particularly strong in construction management. Danny has been involved in projects ranging between $ 100k and $ 7m. Danny has a Bachelor of Construction Management Degree.

Danny experience is particularly strong in both the on site management and project management of building sites. Danny is a firm believer in early planning and proactive problem solving, working with the project team to ensure that nothing is left to chance and that his projects are finished to the complete satisfaction of our Clients.

QA, OH&S & EMS

Buildco Projects is working on getting accreditation by SAI Global for Quality Assurance under International Standard ISO 9001:2008 Buildco Projects Pty Ltd is in the final stages of accreditation for OHS AS/NZS 4801:2001 and Environmental Management ISO 14001:2004. We have had our OHS, QA and EMS systems reviewed by an external consultant to ensure that our procedures and systems comply with the relevant legislation. We are currently undertaking extensive training both in house and externally in Health and Safety, Contract Administration, general IT and on-site skills. All training is recorded in employee’s employment records. We have an on-going commitment to raising our employee’s skill levels, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

We manage Performance through monthly project report meetings, employee appraisals held annually and at the completion of each project we issue a client completion survey to ascertain the views of our Clients and Consultants regarding our Managers, the Company overall, their general view of the project and comparison with other Builders that they may have used in the past. These results are reviewed in the Senior Management Meetings, held monthly, to ascertain corrective action and preventative maintenance. Buildco Projects is committed to learning from our Clients and using this knowledge to continually improve.

As part of our total commitment to QA/OHS/EMS/IR we have a dedicated manager overseeing each and every site to ensure full compliance with both our own systems and all legislative requirements.

Industrial Relations

We believe that we have a good working relationship with the CFMEU and the other Building Unions. Please note that we adopt a communicative approach with the Union rather than an aggressive approach. It has been our experience that the Union has not created any problems on our sites because of the following:

• Our sites are set up properly with all required amenities.• Our sites are safe, clean and well run.• We use sub-contractors with the required insurances, SWMS and who pay their labour, generally as per their EBA’s but as a minimum under the appropriate Awards.

We advise that we have had no industrial disputation on any of our sites since our inception. We have an EBA with our Site Personnel which was put together by the Master Builders Association who have confirmed that it complies with the Code of Practice.

Company Management StructureThe Construction Manager oversees all construction activities and ensures that all sites are resourced correctly. Each Project is managed by an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager reports to the Construction Manager. The Project Manager’s role is to be fully responsible for achieving the time, cost and quality objectives of the Project from a Company and Client perspective.

For Design and Construct our Services Manager will also have involvement in both the Design stage and delivery stage to ensure that all services are fit for purpose. An experienced Contract Administrator is assigned to each project and assists the Project Manager with the timely procurement of sub-contractors and materials to undertake the work. The Contract Administrator also assists in cost control and general sub-contract administration.

Each site has either a full time Site Manager or General Foreman to control and co-ordinate the works on site. The Site Manager is responsible for construction on site. Depending on the size of the Project they may be assisted by Site Foreman, sub-foremen and/or leading hands as required.

In addition we have an experienced roaming OHS/QA/IR manager who assists the Site Managers with site set up, on-going safety including SWMS, inductions, audits, general QA issues and Industrial Relations Issues if and when they arise.

Our Strategy in the delivery of all our projects is to engage in detailed up front planning; risk assessment and putting in place the right management tools to ensure that the risks do not eventuate. In order to this we use our Site Management and supplementary plans.

Buildco Projects Pty Ltd has extensive experience with new build developments across a wide range of sectors including Education, Retail, Commercial and Industrial.On many of our projects we have been an inherent part of the project team, giving advice on buildability and value engineering. Bridgestone

Buildco Projects were given an empty warehouse and told to create a new Bridgestone Select Store incl all office, customer service and customer waiting areas.

A new shopfront was inserted into the original facade that opens onto a new showroom. That in turn leads to the customer waiting area enclosed by glazed walls allowing customers to watch their cars being worked on.

Roll out of new b-select branding and showroom renovations to various existing and new stores.

Refurbishment of the existing delicatessen including installation of light boxes to newly constructed rear wall, tiling of deli walls, new enware tapware, and stainless steel to chicken oven walls.

All work was completed out of hours, completed within one week with no disturbance to the trade of the deli.

Goodman Pluses

Buildco Projects were approached by long time client Diadem to translate the customers idea into reality. The three pluses represent the Goodman branding, and Goodman wanted the new Interchange Park at Eastern Creek to be memorable in terms of Goodman branding. The structures are made of portal steel frames clad in alucabond with light boxes to all three ends.

The structures are each constructed of approx 6.5 tonnes of steel which sit on 20 cubic metres of 45Mpa each. The total surface area of each plus is 273 square metres. The end pluses sit at an angle of 10 degrees while the middle plus leans back on an angle of 20 degrees. The end result is quite a sight to behold, especially when lit up at night.
