ABOUT OSL GLOBALWe currently employ more than 150 highly capable individuals, across a full spectrum of disciplines and experience, ranging from Project Directors, Principal Engineers and Testers in Charge with 20+ years of rail experience through to assistant designers, IRSE Module 5 testers and technical support staff.

All of our people are experienced rail professionals with more than 500 years of combined experience of working across all major railway sectors including:

• Tram systems.

DEVELOPMENT & SUSTAINABILITY One of the key elements of OSL’s strategy for

creating a sustainable business is to encourage and support the professional development of our people. The development of our people is structured and supported by OSL’s accredited competence management system; which includes all aspects of IRSE licencing and similar industry accepted schemes. As a result of OSL’s commitment to our people, our attrition rates are far below industry averages, allowing us to pass on the benefits of highly experienced, committed and cost effective resources to our clients. OSL are also an approved IRSE Assessing Agency, coupled with the development of a dedicated Training academy in collaboration with UTC Crewe.

The E&P Survey capability is supported by our use of a 360 degree camera system, which we use to provide a view unique to the site. The 360 view can assist with design and can be annotated with; information, measurement made from the view and captures used for reporting. The tool is used as a norm not only for clients but for efficient time use to avoid the need for repeated return site visits.

This is also supplemented with our BIM Survey capabilities as 3D modelling ensures that we can develop cross discipline designs which reduces risk and cost during project delivery.

ELECTRIFCATION & PLANT (E&P)

Our design team are conversant with Construction Design Management (CDM) and work to client specifications underthe direction of the OSL management tier.The team look and challenge in order toexceed client expectations by offering innovative and cost saving solutions.
