On 10th March – 2018, Neotech Institute of Technology organized Final Year Project Fair and

Competition. The invited experts were from different fields from Mechanical Engineering

department Mr.Harikrushna C Patel, HR Manager, Ishan Equipment Pvt. Ltd., At. Sankkharda

and Mr.Bharatbhai K Panchal, Director, Ishan Equipment Pvt. Ltd., from Electrical Engineering

department Mr.Ankit Joshi, Global Product Manager at ABB,Vadodara and Mr.Tapan

Chokshi, owner & founder of Vraj Enterprise, from Civil Engineering department Mr.Vivek

Desai, Managing Director of Sachi Constructions and Mr.Mehul Desai, Technical Trainer and

Structural consultant of Freelancer and from computer engineering department Mr.Abhishek

Mehta Founder and CEO of Alite Projects.

Dr. Nipa Desai, Principal - Neotech Institute of Technology and Prof. Himanshu N. Patel,

H.O.D. of Mechanical Engineering Department are the main organizers of “Neo-Exhibit 2018”.

Also the guests of honor to visit the exhibition were:

1) Shri.Nilesh Shukla, President, Vadodara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

2) Shri.Ketan Patel, Program Director-BBA, The M. S University, Member Board of

studies, IIMM, Engineering professional and social worker.

3) Dr.N.J.Shrimali, Associate Professor, Civil Engineering department, The M.S. University

of Baroda.

4) Dr.Sunil Kahar, SSIP Co-ordinator, The M.S. University of Baroda.

5) Prof. Shilpesh Rana, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering department, The M.S.

University of Baroda.

Outline of the event: Showcasing the student’s project to the industries was the main objective and

thereby enhancing the project quality as per the need of industry, with this in

mind NTC has initiated the concept of Project Poster presentation and Project

Exhibition. The function has been a result of good hard work done by the Final

Year Students who showed good enthusiasm to display their projects. The

function generated a high degree of excitement in the faculty and students of

the college, faculty and students of the neighboring colleges and amongst the

industries and was a great success.

Feedback from final year teams:

Project Fair is organized by all the departments of NTC College on 10th April,

2017. The students had represented their work in form of demonstration of

running model in front of Internal and External panel of Evaluator. It was an

excellent experience for the students to demonstrate working capability in front

of Industrial expert and other review panel. Their valuable suggestions were

really very useful to make them understand the current scenario of the

Industries.

Feedback from faculty members: All the students had presented their work very effectively; some of the projects

are really up to the noticeable mark and can be converted to end product. Such

kind of event motivates the students to learn by self-experience and do some

innovative work. All the activities have been organized in very nice manner.

The ideas are taking a shape in form of projects; some of the projects are very

useful for the society. It is really combination of theory and practical. Students

can be inspired largely by such kind of activities and need to organize every

year.
