(SDMS) .For results to be considered for World Para Athletics rankings and records, athletes must hold

a World Para Athletics Athletes License prior to the start of the competition.

·Entries are open to all NPCs

·Acceptance of athletes’ entries will be decided by LOC.

·Each team must have at least one contact person. There is no limit on the number of athletes, coach,

team doctor, athlete guide and staff.

Entry Deadline

First Entry must be submitted to the LOC before 6 March 2019 using the Accommodation Form.

Final Entry must be completed by 10 April 2019 via the IPC Online Entry System:

www.paralympic.org/entries. Full payment must be received by LOC (non-refundable) by 10th April

2019.

Arrival and Departure Information

Arrival and departure information must be submitted to LOC before April 10th.

Competition Rules

The track and field events shall be held in accordance with the most up-to-date World Para Athletics Rules and Regulations 2018-2019.

Classification

PI, VI and II classification will be available from 7th May to 9th May 2019 (pursuant to the below

regulations).

An athlete will only be permitted to undergo International Classification if he or she:

• Is registered and/or licensed with World Para Athletics (SDMS) pursuant to the relevant provisions

in the World Para Athletics Rules and Regulations.

• Has submitted the final entry and arrival information by 10 April 2019.

• Has provided the required Medical Diagnostics Form and medical documents (available from the

World Para Athletics website) and uploaded to SDMS.

Doping Control

Doping control will be take place at the competition. The samples will be collected by the designated

NPC doping control agency in accordance with IPC Anti-Doping Code.

CompetitionVenue

Athletic Field of China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities.

Training Venue

Athletic Field, Indoor Athletics Stadium, Seated-throwing Field of China Administration of Sports for

Persons with Disabilities.

Diploma and Medals

Diplomas and medals will be awarded to the top 3 athletes.

Competition Fee

The competition fee is 800 Euros for each participant from May 6th-13th , which covers the ground

transport, accommodation, meals and competition. The competition fee is a flat rate fee and not

refundable for neither late arrival nor early departure.

If NPCs require a room for single occupancy, an extra 40 Euros per person per day will be charged. The

availability of the single room shall be on a first time first serve basis.

For additional stay, 100 Euros per person per day shall be charged.

Visa and Immigration

For those delegation members who require entry visa to People’s Republic of China, please contact

the nearest Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your country for visa information. The LOC will provide

invitation letter where required to facilitate the application process.

Please be reminded that is important to arrange your entry visa well in advance with required

deadlines. For those who need the original invitation letter, please submit your requirement to LOC

before Mar 6th.

LOC INFORMATION

Competition and Accommodation Venue: China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities(CASPD) is the world’s biggest sports complex built exclusively for disabled sports. It is situated in Houshayu Town, Shunyi District in Beijing, 20 kilometers from downtown and 10 kilometers from Beijing Capital International Airport. Founded in 2007 by the Chinese government, CASPD complex consists of an Athletes Hotel, Indoor and Outdoor Athletics Stadiums, Training Gym, Multi-purpose Training Hall, Swimming Hall, Goalball Hall, Velodrome, Football Field and Archery Range, all designed for disabled athletes. It is a sports complex designed to meet the special requirements of athletes with disabilities.

Competition Venue:

The outdoor athletics facilities comprise a spectator stand with the capacity of 700 persons and an

outdoor athletics field. The athletics field consists of a 400m synthetic track, with eight 400m lanes

and ten 100m straight lanes, a standard 68m×105m lawn football field and other athletics facilities.

Training Venue: 1. Indoor Athletics Area: The indoor athletic facility comprises a 200m six lane IAAF track. and has indoor field events areas for high jump, long jump, triple jump shot-put, etc, with changing and shower room and a training gym. It will be used as the warm -up area during the competition.

2. Track Warming-up Area

With a total area of 7014 ㎡, it comprises six 100m lanes and can be used for standing and wheelchair racing athletes.

3.Seated-throwing Field

The seated-throwing field occupies a 8,316 ㎡ natural lawn, with all relevant facilities including

fixed stands for throwing events and an accessible passageway. It will be used as the

seated-throwing training venue.

Accommodation: The LOC provides accommodation and meals for all participants from May 6th at noon (12:00) to

the evening of May 13th at the apartment buildings of CASPD. The cafeteria and all rooms are fully

accessible.

Meeting Services:

The LOC provides a meeting room that can accommodate 10 persons and a multi-media meeting

room with the capacity of 25 persons.

Local Transportation: Local transportation between Beijing Capital International Airport and CASPD will be provided by the LOC during the official Championships period.

The competition venue, training venue and accommodation area are all situated in one complex,

which provides more convenience to athletes. LOC will assist the participant to go to hospital if

needed, with the company of his/her team’s staff, and the cost will be the team’s own responsibility.
