The Society of Women Engineers and the Career Center for Science and
Engineering welcome you to the 2010 CSE Career Fair!
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a national organization with over 20,000 membersin 90 professional sections and 300 student sections. The organization strives to stimulate
women to achieve full potential in careers in technical fields and as leaders, expand the image
of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and to
demonstrate the value of diversity. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in the field
of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and
leaders. The University of Minnesotas student section of SWE is one of the large st student run
groups in the College of Science and Engineering and coordinates numerous fun and
educational events throughout the year. It is a place to meet engineering students, study, get
exposure to company contacts, and have fun.
Our doors are open to any student and we encourage anyone interested to stop by the lounge
and talk with any of our members. We are located in the basement of Lind Hall in room 25. For
