INSPIRATIONS
The project exploits the chance to build against the city battlements so as to redefine the physical and perceptual boundaries of the area. The concept of
an external perimeter was reinforced by creating a bastion which serves both as a small city park and school building. As a result this emphasizes the sense
of protection offered to the inhabitants by the military nature of the construction, while the fortifications have been remodelled for the new
buildings and uses required. The entire design makes the area extremely accessible.

Hutton & Adrian BlackwelLocation: Metis Garden Festival
Years of exhibition: 2009, 2010, 2011Dymaxion Sleep is a structure of nets suspended over a field of aromatic plants. Rather than walking through the garden, visitors lie on top of it, translating the typically solitary experience of a garden into a public event.
INSPIRATIONSVictoria Park Public Domain by HASSELL
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Completion date: 2002
A variety of exceptional public settings were created for the enjoyment of the community. Plazas, playgrounds and public artworks are combined with the provision of large open spaces and amphitheaters that meet the need to detain large quantities of storm water onsite.

The base of the stream is treated with a rough structure that reduces the flowing speed of the water and creates a constant reflective pattern on the water surface. A distinctive composition of sharp edged stepping stones refers to the randomness of natural processes and is also a reference to the fireworks explosion.
INSPIRATIONSTram stop in Alicante by
SUBARQUITECTURALocation: Rotonda de Sergio Cardell,
Alicante, SpainYears: 2005-2007
Building the Tram stop was an opportunity to give back to the city a space that had been taken from it; transform a roundabout in a public square. The frontal access to the platforms is reached in 32 possible ways trought a fractionated system of paths that get round the existing vegetation. Over them, two hollow boxes, 36 meters long, 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high, create a floating emptiness slightly above the travelers’ heads in a scale closer to the Tram than to the street furniture.
IDEA - CONCEPT
The area is currently undefined. There are just space-grown green and uncultivated water canal. Our target was to create a space for active and passive recreation for inhabitants of all ages - SPACE FOR ALL. Enhanced water surface created an attractive placewhere visitors has directed contact with water. We span both shores by bridges so now are both residential parts connected through the canal. The area of "the Waterfront" is functionally divided and offer various activities which are complemented by cafés, restaurants and fitness. .
