Youth group (REACH) is open to 3rd grade and up! Our youth group time this Sunday, Dec 3rd, will be from 5 to 6pm.
After REACH December 17, EVERYONE (parents, church members, friends) is invited to a dinner in the Fellowship Hall from 6 to 7pm! Bring a dish to share!
REACH will also have a special youth group Sunday School meeting after the service in the Youth Room! We will be having children's church during the service for children ages 3 to grade 5.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Seekers Class will continue meeting at 11:15 in the Parlor. We are currently studying I and II Peter. All are welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coffee & Conversation December 3rd: Birth Announcement or Annunciation? From Genesis through Luke, the motif of the “Birth Announcement” occurs where either God or His representative announces that a child will be born. We’ll review several well-known Old Testament passages invoking birth announcements and include certain examples from other ancient near eastern cultures. Then we’ll turn to Luke chapter 2 and learn some interesting things about the birth of Jesus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angels Have Arrived at Fellowship! Once again, Fellowship Presbyterian is participating in the Angel Tree Prison Fellowship where children of prison inmates are given a gift from their parent through us. These children are often from families that are struggling financially so our gift can help make Christmas a little bit better. We let that child know that their parent is thinking about them, even if they can’t be there. Please help us make a child’s Christmas a little brighter by picking an angel off the tree in the Narthex. You will see the child’s name, age, and what they would like for Christmas. Gifts are due back to church by December 17th. Please email Susan Harman at [email protected] or call 336-882-3551 if you have any questions.
