unique Creation Calls concert, featuring inspir-ing Christian praise and worship music, bib-lical references to God’s Creation and world class nature photography was held on Wednes-

day, May 22 at Cashiers United Methodist Church be-ginning at 5:30 pm. Local musicians Betty Morris, Er-icka Woods, Libby Jones and Paula Ware shared spir-itually uplifting, familiar songs of praise and worship. As a backdrop to the music, some of Bill Lea’s scenes of God’s created “things and places” was shown. Pastor Randy Harry of Cashiers United Methodist Church pro-vided scriptures and inspirational comments. This min-istry is dedicated to providing more awareness and ap-preciation of the wonders and beauty of God’s creation. By combining popular Christian music, God’s word and glimpses of creation found in the natural world, this ministry offers an opportunity to be a part of a spe-cial experience. A fellowship meal followed the service at 6:30 p.m. Chronicle photographer Kelly Donaldson captured some scenes from the event.

Dedication service

The Cashiers Church of God will hold a dedica-tion service on Monday, June 24 at 6 p.m., for their new reception building. Everyone is invited to attend.
