BCI Golf Tournament 12:00 p.m. Shotgun StartBuses to begin leaving hotel at 10:45 a.m.

Network with colleagues over a game of golf at the Riverwalk Golf Club. Enjoy great greens and spectacular views of the heart of San Diego. BCI attendees will be golfing on the Presidio and Mission courses. Pre-registration is required.

BCI Suppliers’ Reception Aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.The USS Midway is within walking distance of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Please exit the hotel at Kettner Street and follow the human directionals along the path to the USS Midway.

Come aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier for a globally-inspired dinner and cocktails hosted by BCI Supplier Members.

Take in all this amazing ship has to offer by taking a photograph inside the T-2 Buckeye plane or enjoying the three guided tours available throughout the evening, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

•Admiral’s & Captain’s Country: Experience the life of the men responsible for the USS Midway and the ships that protected her for 47 years. The war room, Task Force Command Center (TFCC), message center and living quarters provide a unique insight to two of the most pressure-filled jobs at sea.

•Life at Sea: Learn what it was like to prepare 13,500 meals daily, how sailors ate in rough seas, shared space with bombs and missiles and found their way into sick-bay. Includes the galley/mess decks, bomb elevators, sick-bay and dental, post office and machine shops.

•Command at Sea: Ascend navy ladders to experience firsthand what it was like to command a 75,000-ton aircraft carrier with a crew of 4,500 men.

Docents will also be located on the flight deck to answer any questions you or your guests may have.

The reception is open to BCI manufacturing, marketing and associate members and their guests as well as non-members and sponsoring suppliers who have contributed collectively to make this event possible.
