Innovation is probably one of the major economic priorities of the
beginning of the 21st century. Drawing on its rich history to contribute to
the to the progress of this theoretical and practical priority, last year
Cnam hosted the 1st Abbé Grégoire Innovation Day. The
Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Action Sciences (LIRSA) has, of
course, been the fertile ground for the creation and continuation of these
Innovation Days.
Innovation studies needs to be developed through a diverse network of
researches in order to tackle a large range of issues. This is why we are
delighted to welcome you all to our conference. During this second
edition, more than one hundred scientific works will be presented within
30 Special Interest Groups. They cover management, the financing and
governance of innovation, the collaborative and entrepreneurial
dimensions of innovation, and even phenomena like Fablabs and 3D
printing.
There is so much to do! The second Abbé Grégoire Innovation Day is
supported by a variety of scientific associations that work - at least
partly - on innovation. This cooperation illustrates the truly
interdisciplinary nature of innovation science.
We hope you will enjoy the conference. We also hope these two first
Abbé Grégoire Innovation Days will be the beginning of a long and rich
intellectual journey that we will continue walking together.
