Girard, Ph.D. Peyton Anderson Endowed Chair and Professor Middle Georgia State University JoAnn Girard Managing Partner Sagology Workshop Overview: Knowledge Management (KM) may be defined as the process of creating, sharing, using and managing the knowledge and information of an organization. This workshop will focus on how to engage people to achieve organizational knowledge sharing objectives. Building on the enablers of KM – technology, leadership and culture – collectively we will explore tools, tactics, and techniques to share knowledge. The workshop culminates with an interactive exercise during which all participants will have an opportunity to participate in and learn from a knowledge sharing activity. Girard, Ph.D. holds the Peyton Anderson Endowed Chair at Middle Georgia State University’s School of Information Technology. He has published seven books and dozens of articles in the domains of technology, leadership, and culture. John is a Fellow & Distinguished Scholar of The International Institute for Applied Knowledge Management, a Certified Information Professional (CIP), and a Member of the City & Guilds Institute (MCGI).
