Alabama is a state in the south eastern region of the United States. It is bordered by Tennessee

to the north, Georgia to the east, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Mississippi to the

west. Alabama is the 30th largest by area and the 24th-most populous of the U.S. states. With a total

of 1,500 miles (2,400 km) of inland waterways, Alabama has among the most of any state.

An estimated 20 million tourists visit the state each year. Over 100,000 of these are from other

countries, including from Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. The major cities

surrounding the place are Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery and Mobile. In the history of Alabama,

no city has played a major role than that of Montgomery. Battles Wharf, Botanical gardens, Cheaha

State park, Chewacla Falls, Downtown mobile, Florence, Fort Payne Depot Museum, Gulf Shores,

Lake Martin, The Old Mill on Shades Creek, Neversink Pit Sinkhole and many more interesting places

have made the place a best tourist spot.

America’s Finest City also showcases many popular attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

Some of these include Battles Wharf, Cheaha State park, Chewacla Falls, Downtown mobile, Fort

Payne Depot Museum, Florence, Gulf Shores, Lake Martin, Neversink Pit Sinkhole, The Old Mill on

Shades Creek.
