This work will be done at the Museum & Library’s remote facility located in the North Center Neighborhood. INTENED PURPOSE OF THE PRJOECT: Aid in the reduction of Special Collection items cataloging backlog Introduce a student interested in museum and library work to metadata, WMS, and CONTENTdm ESSENTIAL POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Junior or Senior Bachelor’s degree student or a 1st Year Master’s degree student in Library Science, Archives, or related field Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills ASSIGNED RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES Updating data in an Excel Spreadsheet Updating MARC21 records in WMS database Updating metadata of photographs in CONTENTdm START DATE: Week of August 29, 2016 Position Description Form Written By: Kat Latham
