CONFIRMATION OF NZQA STANDARDS TO BE ENTERED IN STUDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Dear E-Dean

Can you please ensure that the following group of students are enrolled in the Level 3 Achievement Standards. I have checked with students that they will be entering all of them, some haven’t replied back to me. I have some concerns (listed below) and recommend they are withdrawn from those identified.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), could you please ensure that the internal and external standards have been entered in your school’s Student Management System using the provider code of 25 (Orewa College).

Can you also ensure that there is an appropriate “Course Name” attached to these standards to ensure that students eligible for Course Endorsement will be able to be recognized. My advice would be to call it Level 3 Accounting (not e-learning accounting).

AS91405 – (3.2) - Version 1 - Demonstrate understanding of accounting for partnerships – INT – 4 credits

AS91406 – (3.3) - Version 1 – Demonstrate understanding of company financial statement preparation– EXT – 5 credits

AS91407 – (3.4) - Version 1 – Prepare a report for an external user that interprets the annual report of a NZ reporting entity – INT – 5 credits

As91408 – (3.5) - Version 1 - Demonstrate understanding of management accounting to inform decision-making – EXT – 4 credits

AS91409 – (3.6) Version 1 - Demonstrate understanding of a job cost subsystem for an entity – INT – 4 credits
