Women in Biz Network Who We Are: Women in Biz Network is national organization supporting a community of 35,000 influential and collaborative women in business. We offer an online and in-person hub for business advice and advancement. With over 2,000 members we are a strong network of women changing the face of Canadian business. We are online across Canada, with locations in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. We assist our community through advice, weekly mentoring events, small business perks, education and mentorship services. Our Mission: To provide caring and approachable access to affordable, experienced business mentors without unnecessary time delays and expense. We strive to reduce feelings of isolation for women seeking support and connection. We believe we can create a grass-roots network of like-minded women committed to supporting and cross mentoring each other with shared talents, experience and strengths. Our Vision: Women in Biz Network strives to radically increase the overall happiness, well-being and financial success of Canadian women by 2020. We will do this by: • Promoting entrepreneurship in Canada • Lobbying corporations and government for more support and opportunities • Providing weekly, monthly and yearly outreach and support to women through
generous support of sponsors and partners who believe in our vision and mission

A 2012 survey showed that 63 percent of women have never had a formal mentor. The reason? Most women feel uncomfortable asking for mentorship. Women represent 52% of post secondary graduates, but we are not asking for the guidance which is vital to our career growth! Women in Biz Network cares about this and carefully matches women with mentors based on their challenges and strengths in the following areas: • Business Management (Time management, Business planning, Technology
and automation, Success strategies)
