Connecting Service Design and Industrial Design Rob Tannen, IDSA, Bresslergroup The focus of design is broadening from individual products to multiple experience touch points. We'll define and discuss this growing field of service design in a very tangible way--by examining the CONNECTING'07 conference as an example of a designed service. We'll be looking at some of the key virtual and physical touch points related to the conference from various attendee perspectives. Conference attendees will also get to participate directly by contributing their own observations during the conference to the analysis project.
