Faddersbøl mill is from 1862 and replaced instead of the water mill which was torn down because of the draining of Sjørring Lake. The mill was used until late 1960. In 2002 the mill got reconstructed in the original Dutch style as on the pictures. The mill is an attraction and a stop on the biking route. In the mill is an exhibition which is open during the summer, and as well this is the starting point for guided tours in the area.
Near Faddersbøl is Egebaksande and old manor from around 1940 previously a large farm and working place for a lot of people, today it is standing vacant. The Manor is visible from the stream and could become an active part in linking different activities.

The nature around Faddersbøl is contrasted shifting from open fields, dense vegetation and the unique nature of the National park. Going from Rosvang to Faddersbøl is an experience of sailing in the open agricultural land and entering the deep canal start-ing one kilometer before Faddersbøl, The canal is the story about the draining of the 850 ha large Sjørring Lake in 1860 where the water was led through the stream this big construction work is the foundation of surrounding landscape of the stream that can be seen today
It is not possible to see the mill from the stream. Ac-cessing the shore and climbing the steep dense veg-etated slopes to reach the open area and the view to the mill. This would be a strong scenario for placing new shelters in between on the edge to the forest with a view to the open.
The old manor could refunction as a site for workshops and gain new value
