The project chose this place for shelter site to use the advantage of staying on water. By offering the opportunity to spend the night on water and not just pass by would be a strong and unique feature of the inland water experience. The project suggests an easily constructed and practical form for the shelters which would be suitable for various weather circum- stances (wind, rain and clear sky) using materials from vacant build- ings. With the folding out idea the shelter could be adapted fast to the users claims too; folded form protects from wind and rain or using the unfolded form for stargazing. Nearby there are many opportunities on land as well. Get an overview of the lake in the north or get the feeling of the lake from Istrup with a ground level view over the big water. Looking back, events as “going around Ove Lake” has attracted people on bikes, horse and walking in the landscape. And there are still a lot of options for activi- ties in and around Ove Lake. Istrup plantation is a linking spot whit existing activities nearby and close connection to the national park and the canoeing in Ove Lake.
