Ash Wednesday will be February 26th at 7:00pm. This year we will be hosting and Pastor Matthew Carpenter from Grace Lutheran Church will be preaching.

STEWARDSHIP andFINANCE UPDATE

Join us every Thursday, March 5th- April 2nd at Noon. Back by popular demand, we will be bringing our own lunch and TAPC will provide the drinks. The bible study portion will begin at 12:30pm. We will be doing Ray Vander laan “Walk As Jesus Walked”.

LENTEN BIBLE STUDY

The idea of Souper Bowl of Caring was born in 1990 and inspired by a simple prayer, “Lord, as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those who are without a bowl of soup to eat.” The prayer was delivered by Brad Smith, then a seminary intern at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC.

On February 2nd we will be doing our Souper Bowl of Caring. There will pots of soup and bread. We will have a donation basket for everyone to donate. This will be in place for our regular goodies that we have. If you would like to make a check out please make it out to TAPC. Please stay after church and join us to support Hale Fish Baby Pantry.

2019 has shown us some new avenues to manage our finances. Our budget for the year was established based on prior year expenses however, due to various circumstances where individuals did not perform the duties we expected, we had less expenses for choir directing and other minor expenses. Also, we did a good job on reducing expenses for facilities. Volunteers helped with the mowing of the property as well as some administrative duties; again a savings to the church. We finish the year with a shortage of income of approximately $4000. We will go into 2020 with that deficit in hopes that we are able to increase our giving to end the year in a positive note. Thank you to those who volunteered, participated and contributed.

THANK YOU to all those who helped make a beautiful Advent and Christmas season here at TAPC. From worship assistance to decorations, you helped create a Christ centered season for all of us.

THANK YOU to the congregation for all the help and donations. We had a great cookie walk (sold out for the first time ever), donations for Toys for Tots(filled the bins 4 times this year) and helping ring the bells at Neimans for the Salvation Army. We received a letter from Salavation Army and raised almost $700 during our time. We were again the highest one day total for the season.

THANK YOU to the members and friends that contributed to the Winter Stewardship letter. Because of your extra help we reduced our deficit.
