He has been recognized with awards such as the First Prize in the InternationalMarimba Contest "ConUCOpercusión", the Honorary Prize of the Alicante ConcertSociety Interpretation Competition or the Musical Interpretation Scholarship of thePro-Music Association Amadeo L. Sala, highlighting for his quality as a musician, as well
as his work and commitment to the future of his instrument.
Conrado Moya maintains a firm commitment to the dissemination and development
of the marimba. That is why he frequently collaborates with artists from various
disciplines, as well as with renowned composers and new promises of composition for
marimba. The result of all this is Silentium, his first solo marimba album.
Likewise, Conrado Moya performs extensive pedagogical work and is regularly invited
to participate as a teacher in academies and master classes in Spain, Germany,Luxembourg, Colombia, Canada, USA and Japan, among others, and also as a jury in
international competitions.
Among his recent and upcoming projects is the world premiere of the Concerto forpiano and orchestra by Joaquín Rodrigo in its version for marimba -transcribed by
Conrado Moya himself and exclusively authorized to the artist by the heirs of the
composer-, together with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria and the
conductor Guillermo García Calvo, and subsequent performances at the Cádiz SpanishMusic Festival, together with the Ciudad de Almería Orchestra and Michael Thomas.
Also noteworthy is the European premiere of the Everlasting Light Requiem for Choirand Marimba by Christos Hatzis, together with the Choir of Bilbao, at the GuggenheimMuseum in Bilbao and the Reina Sofía in Madrid; the world premiere of Tres Quadresper a Marimba by Albert Guinovart, together with the Municipal Band of Barcelona,
within the framework of the Festival Emergents de L’Auditori; tours around Germanyand Spain together with Katarzyna Myćka with one of the most demanding projects
for a marimbas duo, J. S. Bach's Goldberg Variations; in addition to various solo recitals
and master classes in Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Colombia or Mexico.
Conrado Moya develops an intense activity as a marimba soloist all over the world: he
performs recitals, performs alongside the main orchestras, choirs and symphonic
bands, and performs at international festivals such as the PASIC in Indianapolis; the
International Marimba Festival of Guatemala, the International Festival of Marimbistasof Chiapas or the Mercedes-Benz International Music Festival of Shanghai, among
others. In the field of chamber music, he has been an integral part of groups such as LiBiao Percussion Group or Marimba Quartett.
Conrado Moya is a representative artist of the American marimba firm marimba one®,with whom he has also developed his own line of drumsticks.
Academic record

Professional experience
Trained in the conservatory of his hometown, Alicante, he receives at the same time
the advice of the soloists Sisco Aparici (Valencia) and Katarzyna Myćka (Stuttgart).
Later he studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, under the tutelage
of percussion soloist Li Biao.
