Hi l ls" because the h i s tor ic peninsu la , the o ldes t par t o f the c i ty, was bu i l t on

seven h i l ls ( jus t l ike Rome) , each of which bears a h i s tor ic mosque . The h i l l s

a r e r ep re sen t ed i n t he c i t y ' s emb lem wi th s even t r i ang l e s , above wh ich r i s e

four minarets . Much of these points relate of rel igion Judaism phi losophy. One

might ask a l l these re l ig ions a re in te r linked or c rea ted by one source and th i s

area have conquered b y most of the rel igious nat ions.

of Ci t ies ) , wh ich ro se f rom the c i t y ' s impor t ance and wea l th t h roughou t t he

Middle Ages ; and Dersaadet , or iginal ly Der- i Saadet ( the Door to Happiness )

which was f i r s t used towards the end of 19 th cen tury and i s s t i l l remembered
