17.CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE DRAWINGS FOR COORDINATIONAMONG TRADES AND CONSISTENCY BETWEEN DISCIPLINES AND OBTAINWRITTEN CLARIFICATION FROM THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO THEPERFORMANCE OF THE WORK WHEN INFORMATION FROM ONEDISCIPLINE CONFLICTS WITH THE INFORMATION FROM ANOTHER. ITSHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDECOMPLETE SETS OF DOCUMENTS TO EACH TRADE WHERE ASINFORMATION AFFECTING THE WORK OF ONE TRADE MAY BE LOCATEDON DRAWINGS OTHER THAN THOSE DEALING SPECIFICALLY WITH THEWORK OF A GIVEN TRADE.

18.CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE DRAWINGS FOR CONSISTENCY WITHOBSERVED FIELD AND / OR EXISTING BUILDING CONDITIONS ANDREPORT AND DISCREPANCIES TO THE ARCHITECT IN WRITING PRIOR TOCOMMENCING THE WORK. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITEPRIOR TO BID AND ACCOUNT FOR OBSERVABLE EXISTING CONDITIONSAS THEY MAY AFFECT THEIR WORK.

19.CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSULT WITH THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVETO COORDINATE ACCESS, WORKING HOURS AND OTHER OPERATIONALISSUES. CONTRACTOR SHALL BECOME FAMILIAR WITH SCOPE OF WORKTO BE PROVIDED BY THE OWNER AND INCLUDE SUCH WORK AS PART OFTHE OVERALL PROJECT SCHEDULE TO INSURE ORDERLY SEQUENCING.

20.CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY MEASURES, INCLUDINGBUT NOT LIMITED TO INSTALLATION OF CONSTRUCTION FENCES,TEMPORARY BARRICADES, GATES, COVERED PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS,TRAFFIC BARRICADES, SIGNAGE, SECURITY LIGHTING AND PROVIDINGTRAFFIC CONTROL AND FLAGMAN REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN SAFETY ANDSECURITY FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND CONSTRUCTION WORKERS.WHERE PROTECTION DEVICES ARE TO BE LOCATED ON PUBLICPROPERTY, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR ALLREQUIRED PERMIT FOR SUCH WORK..

21.PROTECT ALL TRENCHES, EXCAVATION AND CONSTRUCTION FROM RAINOR WATER DAMAGE AT ALL TIMES. OPEN TRENCHES SHALL BECOVERED OR FENCED AT ALL TIMES.

22.CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UTILITYCOMPANIES THAT ARE TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE PROJECT,INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ELECTRICITY. UNLESS NOTEDOTHERWISE IN DOCUMENTS CONTRACTOR SHALL PAY FOR ALL UTILITYCONNECTION FEES AS REQUIRED. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATEINSTALLATION OF UTILITY HOOK-UP WITH THE APPROPRIATE AGENCIES.

1. CONCRETE PAVING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN CONFORMANCE WITHLOCAL PUBLIC WORKS STANDARDS ANSI 117.1 AND THE U.F.A.S.

1. DURING DEMOLITION, ALL MATERIAL SHALL BE HANDLED WITHIN THEBUILDING AREA OR WITHIN THE AN AREA BOUNDED BY A BARRICADE.

2. DURING DEMOLITION, ALL DEBRIS SHALL BE SUFFICIENTLY WET ATTHE TIME OF HANDLING TO PREVENT DUST FROM ARISING.

3. CONTRACTOR SHALL EXAMINE ALL WASTE SYSTEMS FOR STOPPAGEAND PARTIALLY CLOGGED PIPES. ALL OBSTRUCTIONS SHALL BECLEARED.

4. CONTRACTOR TO TERMINATE AND CAP EXISTING UTILITIES.5. CONTRACT TO DETERMINE EXTENT OF DEMOLITION NECESSARY FOR

WORK TO PERFORMED PRIOR TO BID UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.6. THE DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN PREPARED FROM AVAILABLE RECORD

DRAWINGS AND SITE OBSERVATIONS. ALTHOUGH EVERY EFFORTHAS BEEN MADE TO VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS, DISCREPANCIESBETWEEN THE DOCUMENTS AND ACTUAL FIELD CONDITIONS MAYEXIST. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT ALL SITE CONDITIONS ASPART OF THE BIDDING PROCESS AND NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT INWRITING WHEREVER DISCREPANCIES ARE OBSERVED WHICH MIGHTAFFECT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WORK.

7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INVESTIGATE THE SCOPE OF DEMOLITIONREQUIRED AND IDENTIFY ANY CONDITIONS WHERE THE WORK ASINDICATED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS CANNOT BE PERFORMEDDUE TO EXISTING FIELD CONDITIONS.

8. THE TERMS 'REMOVE' AND 'DEMOLISH' AS USED IN THE DOCUMENTSARE EQUAL IN MEANING AND UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE INDICATECOMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE ITEM IDENTIFIED. THETERM 'DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES' OR 'DEMOLITION OPERATION' SHALLMEAN BOTH THE DEMOLITION AND RELATED RECONSTRUCTIONWORK AS MAY BE APPLICABLE.

9. DEMOLITION OF EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THEITEMS INDICATED TO BE DEMOLISHED.

PORTABLEFIRE EXTINGUISHERS WITH A RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 20 ABCSHALL BE PROVIDED. PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS ASREQUIRED BY STATE FIRE MARSHAL REPRESENTATIVE.
