The Medical Admissions Unit at KIMS Hospital provides GPs (and local hospitals) with a fast, accessible urgent consultant physician opinion and admissions service for medical patients who are privately insured or willing to fund their hospital stay.

Our consultant physicians are available on a rota basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Medical patients will be cared for directly by their consultant, supported by our resident medical officer, our experienced team of nurses and our full multi-disciplinary team.

We have comprehensive diagnostic and treatment facilities, including high dependency and intensive care units. Should referral to another specialty be required, this will be promptly organised.

We have consultants in all major specialties working at KIMS Hospital, including a full team of consultant intensivists on call 24 hours a day.

KIMS Hospital is situated on the outskirts of Maidstone just off junction 7 of the M20 motorway in Kent.

By trainMaidstone is served by three railway stations with trains from London and the surrounding areas of Kent.

All three stations are within a 10 minute car journey of KIMS:

Bearsted - 1.3 miles

Maidstone East - 2 miles

Maidstone West - 2.5 miles

Maidstone Barracks - 3 miles

By carCar parking facilities including disabled are available at KIMS.

If you are travelling from outside of Maidstone, the nearest motorway junction to KIMS is junction 7 off the M20.
