2017 SCHOOL SPORT – BOOKING FORM
Newcastle Athletics Field has undergone a major renovation program and is now known as the Fearnley
Dawes Athletic Centre. The result is a new top class competition and training athletics venue. The facility will
be an excellent venue for school athletics carnivals and for school sport. A summary of the school options can
be found below. To request a 2017 date please complete the booking request form on the following page.
School Sport Booking Summary
Times available: 8:00am – 3:30pm (or any time within) based on an hourly rate.
Fee: $60 per hour (GST Inclusive) for small groups (up to 50 students)
$80 per hour (GST inclusive) for medium groups (51 – 100 students)
$100 per hour (GST inclusive) for large groups (101 students or more)
Inclusions for school sport – all areas will be set up for use
• Full use of brand new 6 lane Spartan BS Synthetics Athletics track.
• Full use of lane 7 which is a specialised wheelchair lane (no spikes on this lane)
• Full use of field event areas ▪ 2 shot put circles ▪ 2 discus cages ▪ 2 high jump pits ▪ 2 long jump/ triple jump pits ▪ 1 x full sized soccer pitch infield
• Access to 30 space carpark, 300 seat grandstand, clean toilets, separate staff toilet and spectator hill areas
• All field event areas marked and prepared for training or competition including throwing implements, measuring and marking out equipment
• Track prepared for competition and standard equipment supplied; o Relay batons o Starting blocks
Extra Options
• Change rooms with showers - $50
• Accredited Athletics Coaches - $40 per coach per hour. Note: This booking schedule is NOT for carnivals I look forward to hosting your 2017 School Sport session in 2017,
