Prenatal visits are in our private office on West 12th Street. When you are ready to give birth the midwife will meet you at Metropolitan Hospital on the Upper East Side.

OUR SERVICE

A midwife is a highly educated, licensed medical professional

specializing in women’s health. During pregnancy and birth,

midwives provide prenatal care, monitor mother and baby in labor, administer

pain medications, and attend deliveries. While their focus is natural birth, they are expert

at detecting complications and handling birth emergencies, and

will consult a doctor if needed.
