Please refer to

section 1 of the file

“Section 3 (EQC)

ISPL”

It indicated that in both the cases the

inclination angle must be 25° (facing towards

south) and the spacing of adjacent PV clusters

should be more than or equal to the ratio

mentioned in the conceptual drawing of PV

mounting structure (L/H≥2)

1)The defined inclination angle (25°)may not the optimized angle, can we change it as per

our own design ?

2)As per the design data get from dawing “Annex C

- 01 Mounting Structure of Solar PV Module”,the spacing of adjacent PV rows is 3.32m,

which may not the optimized distance, can we make the

modification?3)once we make modification according to our design, then the land size may not enough

for a capacity of 40MWp(≥40MWp),please advise.

1. You can change the

inclinational angle but you need

to provide yield comparison

and need to take approval at

the time of design submission

to the Employer (ISPL)

2. Its only conceptual drawing,

You can suggest better design

but the ration mentioned inhe

drawing (L/H must be greater

than or equal to 2). But

propoer explanation should be

there with simulation result.

3. You need to submit the

design within the given land. If

you have alternate design you

can provide so as alternate

design. Employer has the right

to accept or reject the modified

design. You can also use higher

efficient panels for space

optimization.

As per the data get from drawing “Annex A - 01 PV Plant Layout with Location Photo”, the

distance of the 33 kV overhead evacuation line from the PV power plant evacuation switchyard

to the nearby 33 kV substation at Kaliganj, Lalmonirhat is 7.5kM, which not 10kM.

please clarify which value mentioned above is correct?

Actually our Transmission line

is 33KV double circuit line.

***Google Map shows that the

total line will be 7.5 km along

the road. We are considering

the evacuation line not more

than 10 km. Bidder is

responsible for selection of

proper line route. It is advisable

to consider 10 km of

tranmission line.

A 5 kWp solar PV system (on the roof of control room and office building) with Li-ion based

battery for backup power supply of the plant. Excess power should share the load of the plant.

Our question:

1> 5kWp herein is refer to DC or AC power?

2> What is the capacity requirement of Li-ion based battery?3>It has come to our notice that this is a roof mounted grid connected PV system, please

indicate the location of the interconnection point

4> What is the function of this system? Please share more details in this regard.

1. AC power for the plant use

minimum height of the modules at any point

shall be

higher than one meter above the recorded

flood level as indicated in the general layout

60According to

Section 6

(ERQ),page10,

the Bidder shall consider the possibility of cyclones during its design. Please provide the basic

wind pressure of the cyclones.

The design should withstand a

maximum a wind speed of 62.5

m/s

61 Referring to

Section 6 Clause

2.3.5.3

“The minimum coating shall be specified during detailed design for a minimumlifetime of 50

years in use, in any case minimum 80 µm are required”, normally the design lifetime for the

mounting structure is 25 years. How to consider this difference?

Minimum lifetime is 25 years

62Referring to the

wind conditions at

Section 6 page 8,

the basic wind speed is 62.5m/s, and this record is for 50 years, however the normal design

lifetime for PV plant is around 25years. Thus, we shall conform to the basic wind speed for 50

years or for 25 years? This wind speed has a big effect on our mounting structure design and

cost.

Bidders need toConsider the

basic wind speed of 62.5 m/s

63 Our design shall consider the high water level, please provide the recorded flood level in the PV

plant area.

Employer will develop the land

considering the recorded flood

level

64 Please provide the Annex E,Soil test report. Attached

65 How many peoples shall be considered for office and staff dormitory capacity?

Satisfying the minimum

requirement given in the

conceptual design, Bidder can

propose their design

(Considering minimum 20

numbers of Office staff). Staff

dormitory is not the scope of

Lot-2 works

66Is there any requirement for the 33 kV overhead line? For the supporting structure, we can use

Concrete pole, wooden pole, or iron tower?

Follow the clause 2.4.1.1.5 of

section 6(Employer's

Requirement). The pole would

be SPC pole.

67In the Section 3

EQC PAGE 10,

the subcontractors, Item No.4,it shows that we need the 33kV switchgear.Usually the switchgear

means the Switch cabinet which is indoor type. However, referring to section 6 ERQ page 23,the
