DIFFICULTIES SO FAR

INSPIRATION

MY FIRST VERSIONI wanted to carry on the theme of autumn leaves from my front cover and use it as my contents page background but upon further reflection I believe that a mood board may look better and reflect the fashion genre better.

I also feel that it looks very basic and as a result very bare, there is a lot of space left blank. I could enlarge my image to take my more space or make space for another column of articles.

TEXT CONSIDERATIONI tried out different font styles and sizes, I mixed between Moonflower bold and Bebas Neau and the use of information underneath the sub headings. I wanted to bring humour to the magazine and make it more relatable but looking at it I believe that it looks messy and unorganised.

IDEAS FOR IMPROVMENT

Mood board cut from magazines as a background.

Make the main focus an image rather than text.

Include a message from the editor or editors top pics of stories.

Different font styles and sizes.

Include magazine name or ‘contents’ rather than month.
