2019 has certainly started off with a bang! The past few months have felt like such a whirlwind. So many powerful efforts, so much movement, so much growth. It has been remarkable to witness.

January:In lieu of the President’s postponement of his SOTU Address… Moms for America hosted its inaugural “SOTU Address by America’s Moms" on January 29th in Washington, D.C.

Mothers from all over the country addressed the American public on the state of our union, including moms from Angel families, moms from Gold Star families, a 9/11 victim’s wife, an FBI widow, a family law attorney, and a pro-life advocate.

The event was live-streamed from our Facebook page: Moms March for America, as well as from Breitbart News and quickly received more than 1.4 MILLION views from women across the country, along with thousands upon thousands of likes, comments, and shares!

Among some of the most powerful comments we received while hosting this national event were women who stated that they are, in fact, registered Democrats but relate with our message much more than the current message from their party.

THIS is how we gain ground. Through touch points that every American mom can relate to. Because of the overwhelming support for this effort, we were asked to appear on Fox & Friends the following morning and then received thousands of additional messages of support for this unifying cause.

Impact of Inaugural Live Stream SOTU

February:

Our team—experiencing exponential growth—all met in Texas for a weekend retreat to assign tasks, organize work flow, and cast vision. While there we learned that President Trump planned to visit El Paso for his first 2020 campaign rally and to talk to the locals about building the wall.

We accessed VIP tickets for the event and headed to the rally in order to interview local mothers dealing first-hand with border issues. We collected multiple strong clips which have done well on our social media platforms, exposing the truth about the necessity of a border wall. While still in El Paso, we were also able to meet with and interview the wife of a man kidnapped then murdered by the Mexican drug cartel when he interfered with their sex trafficking ring. We were also able to meet with and interview an alfalfa farmer from New Mexico who's family lives in constant danger from drug smuggling efforts across their property.

March:

We are excited to announce that Gold Star Mother, Veterans Advocate, and Bestselling Author, Karen Vaughn, joined our executive board as Vice President, and also came on staff as our Moms March Movement Executive Director. Karen's connections with news networks, prominent leaders, and other powerful advocacy groups expands our reach and deepens our bench.We've also brought on an impressive team of Advisors and Council members, including a 9/11 wife, and Angel mom who is routinely invited to meet with President Trump, a national radio personality, doctors, attorneys, and more. We are building out a team any organization would be proud to call their own. And it is making our efforts all the more powerful and far-reaching.

Also in March we hosted this year's first Mom Talk in San Antonio, Texas. It was a phenomenal success. Mom Talks are like TED Talks - but for issues concerning moms specifically. But honestly, as we say all the time, "All Issues Are Mom Issues," so our guest speaker list for this effort is vast and highly diversified.

April:

We have a Mom Talk scheduled in Buffalo, NY on April 13th and have secured as one of our speakers, Ashley Bratcher, the star of the upcoming, highly anticipated film, Unplanned, the true story of Abby Johnson's inspiring transformation from Planned Parenthood clinic director to pro-life activist.

To say we are excited would be a complete understatement.

We are making a strong effort to do something of eternal value each and every month and to date we are achieving that goal, thanks to the incredible support of those like you, who believe in what we feel called to do.
