Danilo, a lawyer and Nuri’s best friend, represents Katja in the eventual trial against the two suspects. The trial pushes Katja to the edge, but there’s simply no alternative for her: she wants justice. Presented in German with English subtitles. Drama. 106 min. R. THE DIVINE ORDER WINNER OF THE AUDIENCE AWARD FOR BEST FICTION FILM AT THE 2017 TRAVERSE CITY FILM FESTIVAL. Director PETRA VOLPE explores this surprising history through the story of Nora, a seemingly unremarkable housewife from a quaint village who must learn to become an unflinching suffragette leader. Now that the State has re-opened (THANK YOU AGAIN), we must focus attention on our beloved Michigan Theater.
We need to make important capital improvements to keep her beautiful and strong, including new seats,
carpeting, technical upgrades and completion of the Barton Organ restoration.
A great way to help is by sponsoring a new seat at the Michigan Theater.
Please contact Amber Duncan at [email protected] for details.
