How you as parents can help?

Encourage children to participate in all the activities and competitions held throughout the year.

Motivate them and help them prepare for the activities.

Provide an environment at home where child is encouraged to do the home assignment by himself / herself with minimal support. But nevertheless your guidance and monitoring is required.

Motivate the children to attempt research based questions. Provide resources like books, encyclopedias and internet, so that the child is able to search the information by himself.

Never try to do difficult H.W. for your child. Let the child independently handle / face the problem.

H.W. is regularly uploaded on the net, in case the child is on leave, the home assignments can be checked on school website. (www.smartwonderschool.com)

Stay connected to the educators through school almanac / diary.

Acknowledge all the notes written by educators with your signature. Encourage daily reading.

Talk to your child about school and their learning.

The most important thing to remember through this period as parents is to constantly remind your child how much you love them and be there to provide comfort when they might feel a bit nervous.

A simple routine with a healthy balance of outdoor play, relaxation, revision and a reassuring family is the key to success.
