Schedule and Deliverables were presented.

Pier-Giorgio has checked the copyright statements on latest OGC template and there are no problems with the IPR. Johannes to verify that the specifications are using the most recent OGC template.3JE06/11/09

PR is provisionally set at 2-3 February 2010.

At that meeting the Specification process will be discussed, so that any conclusions can be passed on in the later OGC meeting (4 February)

Synchronisation with the other tasks will also be important.

Pier-Giorgio explained that OGC is keen to get requirements from institutions and there is a need from ESA to provide these. He will upload a template to wiki.4PGM06/11/09

Consortium need to provide these requirements as we understand them using the template for cross dependencies/ interelations between specifications for the SWE specifications. We may need guidance on the use of some of the fields.These are to be put on Wiki by 13 Nov. ESA will then review, perhaps call a teleconference, and then will send to OGC (perhaps tying together input from the different working groups). We can discuss issues within consortium at PR.5RW13/11/09

Johannes described the most recent work on SPS 2.0 specification. Noted dependency on on Common Service Model (OGC 09-001) and described use of SWE service model (which is shared with SOS).

There will only be minor changes after 19 Nov, so we can have vote in December to go to RFC (request for comment). We are using what we can of new OGC specification model (OGC 08-131r3).

Migration to OWS Common 1.2 is being discussed. It is currently in eVote. Johannes to give info to ESA on our requirements/comments. We will publish on HMA Wiki 6JE13/11/09

Yves to make other partners aware of this process and encourage other contributions before sending to OGC and resolve issues internally if there are any. Suggest review until end of 17 Nov 17, and email discussion ASAP and possible teleconfon 18 or 18 Nov. ESA can then vote based on this harmonised view. Voting on OWS Common 1.2 closes on 20 Nov.

There is potential for voting being conditional on the comments acceptance. To clarify what was said during the telcon: a YES vote with comments means -

afaik - that the comments are only minor and the SWG is free to take them

into account. A NO vote has to be justified and if there are two of those

votes I think the vote failed or at least is paused, so the SWG needs to

work out what is deemed to justify the NO vote. As I said during the telcon

it would be polite to use the first option (YES with comments), separately

telling the SWG chair that these comments should be worked out if at all

possible.7YC19/11/09

Philippe described the ongoing work on both SweCommon and SPS Application profile for Earth Observation.

Again, attempts are being made to harmonise with new OGC specification model (OGC 08-131r3) however complete harmonisation is unlikely in this time frame.

Estimate sensor workload operation is being worked on at present.

The specifications should be into "pending docs" area at OGC by 19 November. 8PM19/11/09
