A spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise

known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

Now Klaus must take down his protege, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in

order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans. Klaus departed from the city after being chased down by his

father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge. As Klaus has returned after many years, his

ego has provoked him to become the king of the city. “Every King needs an heir” says Klaus, accepting the unborn child. The child is a first to be born to a hybrid (part vampire, part werewolf) and a werewolf (Hayley). ~ Written by Anaya Miller

THE WITCHES CAULDRON S1 EP3 & S4 EP1 922 Center Street NE, Conyers, Georgia 30012 (small parking area beside Danny Lee Photography studio) Season 1: The Cauldron is often the area of fights between vampires and witches, as when Marcel sent Diego and other vampires to teach a lesson to the witches creating a mess by overturning tables and breaking merchandise in shops. In “Tangled Up In Blue,” it was during one of these raids that Thierry killed one of the vampires who had

assaulted his girlfriend, the witch Katie, owner of the Jardin Gris Voodoo Shop.

The Cauldron is also the place where Céleste and her acolytes left the corpses of some vampire victims of Sacrificial Magic.

Season 4: In “Gather Up the Killers,” Marcel asked Vincent Griffith to keep witches at The Cauldron to avoid unpleasant encounters with European vampires like Alistair Duquesne, who had just arrived in town to witness Niklaus Mikaelson’s defeat at the hands of Marcel. Vincent accepted his request as long as the vampires had not caused problems to the witches.

In “The Casket Girls,” the Casket Girls Festival is in full swing, with marching bands and people in costumes dancing around the streets. Davina is wearing a masquerade mask and an antique wedding dress to disguise herself as she walks hurriedly down the main street with Cami in tow. They’re trying to find a way out of the city. Unfortunately the witches, including Céleste, know that Davina isn’t with Marcel as he’s doing a search party with Klaus and Elijah to find his ward before the witches do. Klaus threatens Davina’s friend and compels him to drink poison once Davina was found and he offers her a slip.

At Rousseau’s, the French Quarter throws an Irish-style wake in Father Kieran’s honor, complete with Irish music, lots of alcohol, and tons of people who gathered to share stories of Father Kieran and celebrate his life. Marcel comes to the ceremony and toasts to the entire party.

Francesca attends the ceremony and introduces herself to Cami as the Faction representative which was Kieran’s position before he was hexed. She actually came to the event in an attempt to take hold of Kieran’s secret key. But Cami doesn’t tell her anything as she herself was unaware of the whereabouts of the key.

FUNERAL PROCESSIONThe next day hundreds of community members gather in the streets of the French Quarter after the funeral, as Father Kieran’s casket was placed in a horse-drawn carriage to begin the parade in his honor. The funeral procession walks down the street to the sounds of the jazz music being played. Behind the procession, the priests act as pallbearers for Father Kieran.

Shown throughout the series, Jardin Gris Voodoo Shop is a tourist shop which sells herbs, charms, oils, candles and other magical remedies located on Rue Dauphine in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The owner was Katie, but after she was killed by Niklaus Mikaelson, we see Genevieve in there.

ROUSSEAU’S, ALL 5 SEASONS903 Commercial Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012Rousseau’s is a bar located in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Camille works here as a bartender. Jane-Anne and Sophie Deveraux worked here before they were killed. During the five-year truce guaranteed by Marcel and Vincent, Josh began working at Rousseau’s.

[Davina is sitting glumly at the bar of the pub all alone, where she is picking at a plate of food in front of her. Outside, Vincent is leaning against an outdoor table and watching her with guilt in his eyes when Marcel walks over and joins him]

MARCEL: [sighs] Can you help her?

VINCENT: If she lets me. I’m not holding my breath. She’s been through a lot.

MARCEL: She’s alive. That’s what counts.

VINCENT: [bitterly] Yeah. We’ll keep telling ourselves that, won’t we?

[Vincent gives him a look before walking away, leaving Marcel to watch Davina with worry outside of the restaurant]

“An Old Friend Calls” - Summary

When Klaus learns that Cortez, an old vampire with a vendetta against him, has arrived in New Orleans, he finds himself forced to deal with this new threat. Meanwhile, when Cortez begins

threatening the lives of innocent residents, Vincent has no choice but to help the vengeful vampire in his plan to take down Klaus. Elsewhere, Marcel turns to Davina for her help after several Strix members turn up missing, and Elijah confronts Hayley after learning that she’s been dealing with Jackson’s death in a destructive way.
